Trusting in divine guidance has paid off and attracted eclectic music artists to the studio under the label called Current Cycles Creative.

 

This hard working music connoisseur manages to transfer his many years of business acumen to the music field. Coming from a very hardworking family - ambition is one of the biggest characteristics - of this charismatic music lover. Being a talent facilitator came naturally to him, as he has always been surrounded by musicians, which inspired him to take on the role as their manager. He was one of the few, that instantly spotted their potential and has the vision to outline the best path for an artist to pursue. This allows his protegees to quickly reach new heights.

 

Willis’ unrivalled passion for the music scene and especially for emerging artists, inspired him to found Samurai Sounds - which came into existence in 2009. His varied and impressive industry connections also allowed this tastemaker to start the epic events series: Dojo, in 2015. This series was one of the drivers of the Grime revival - hosting events with big name performances by: Stormzy, AJ Tracey, Big Narstie... to name but a few.

 

His believe in up and coming artists and  evolutionizing genres - reflects in the fresh talent represented by Current Cycles Creative. Willis is in fact renowned for backing his protegees 100 percent and has been known to take a leap of faith with undiscovered talent - which has always paid off.

 

His visionary personality sees the label grow into a successful name that is widely respected and celebrated in the industry. As the studio is in such a unique location - it is part of the inspiration behind the Grenfell-scheme - this adds to the creative vibe in the studio and label as well as the actual area.
